Located at Fazenda São Bento, in the city of Santo Antônio do Aracanguá - SP, on the board of the Tiete River, it is composed of 25,000 plants of hybrid F1 variety, all irrigated by a micro-sprinkler system.
The fruits are harvested daily and taken directly to industrialization.
After harvesting, the fruit is peeled in its own cultivation area. The outer shell (Epicarp and mesocarp), also known as husk, is left in the debarking place where, after grinding, is incorporated into the soil. The coconut, after peeled, still with the inner shell (endocarp) is packed in a farm trailer and transported to the industry.
The dried coconut is packaged in plastic boxes and placed inside the factory where the process starts.
After arriving from the growing area, the coconut is drilled in order to remove the water.
In this process, the inner bark is removed (cored) to obtain a solid albumen (fruit) which is the raw material for the production of coconut oil.
The solid albumen (fruit) is coated with a brown colored film which is in contact with the inner shell (endocarp). This film is removed, leaving only the solid albumen (fruit).
Washing the solid albumen (fruit) is intended to remove excess of the brown film that remained.
After washing the fruit, the grating process begins, where the solid albumen (fruit) is processed on a grater in order to obtain pieces in the ideal size for dehydration.
In this process the coconut is dehydrated, and all the moisture is removed.
The coconut is brought to the press for oil extraction still in crude form.
The crude coconut oil is subjected to a filtering process, removing all the solid particles of oil, giving it the right polishing in order to have a perfect crystallinity.
The glass jars and lids are sterilized so that all forms of microbial life subject to contamination are destroyed.
Labeling is done in a shrink tunnel where the label takes the form of the glass jar.
It consists in filling the glass jar with the final product.
This step is also done in the shrinking tunnel. The lid receives the protection seal to be assured that the packaging has not been violated.
It is the final stage of industrialization. The sealed glass jars are placed in customized boxes, sealed and stored for transport to their final destination.
